Prints & Albums

I use Miller's lab. Your photos are calibrated to print in perfect color with this provider. They offer everything from large canvases to invitations.  These can be purchased directly from your online gallery. If you purchase your rights released USB drive, you'll have the option to print wherever you prefer. I provide a sheet with suggestions and recommendations to accomplish this

“I’ve had the pleasure of working with Grace & Glory Photography in Northern Arizona for maternity, newborn, and family photo shoots and I couldn’t be happier with the overall experience! The photos perfectly captured the love and connection in our family, with beautiful lighting, thoughtful composition, and natural beauty. Every image felt authentic and full of so much life!”

FAQ Session

  1. When is the best time to take newborn photos?

8 months pregnant is generally the best time to take pictures. You are significantly showing, but the last month's facial changes haven't happened. You're typically still pretty comfortable moving around too.

  2. Best Place?
This all depends on what you want to capture. I'll help you decide once I hear what you want to accomplish.

  3. I want boudoir style pictures... do you do those?
No. Other photographers in town specialize in this sort of work, it's just not what I'm best or most comfortable with.

  4. What should we wear?
Flowing dresses look the best. The more movement the better. But ofcourse, whatever makes you comfortable is great.

  5. How long do sessions last?

Most sessions last one  hour, giving time  to capture you in a couple of locations and whatever family portraits you want to capture as well

  6. How many photos will I get / how long before I receive them?

Each session includes 40–50 fully edited images, with careful skin retouching and blemish removal for a natural, polished look. Your digital files will be delivered through a private online gallery, where you can download your images and order professional prints directly through my preferred lab for the best quality results. For an additional $100, I can package your images on a USB drive and either mail or hand-deliver it to you. Please Note: My images are specially edited and calibrated to print accurately through the professional lab I use. I’m unable to make separate edits to accommodate outside printers you may choose to use.

  7. Do you do rush turn around?
Sometimes. Depends on the reason and the rest of my load. Please ask if you have an urgent need for this..

  8. Do I get digital files and printing rights?

Every package includes 5 files released to you to use in Christmas photos and share on social media. If you'd like all your images available to print outside of ordering prints through me, you'll need to purchase the $100 rights package. If you don't purchase your rights package, you'll still have access to a gallery of your images for 12 months where you can purchase prints, albums and more with your pictures.

  9. What happens if weather or scheduling is a problem?

Sessions are usually rescheduled for bad weather or family emergencies.

  10. I feel like photos are so expensive... why?
It’s a fair question and I'm going to answer it because I know you've been wondering— the short answer is that photography is much more than the hour or two we spend together at your session. What you’re investing in is not just “a few clicks of the camera,” but years of training, the best equipment, creative expertise, and many hours of behind-the-scenes work to deliver images that truly capture who you are. Here’s where your investment really goes:

Time & Preparation – Before your session even starts, your photographer is scouting locations, helping you plan outfits, and scheduling around the best light. After the session comes the hours of culling, editing, retouching, and preparing your gallery. What seems like a one-hour shoot often adds up to 10+ hours of professional work

Professional Gear & Software – Cameras, lenses, editing programs, sales and invoicing software and and backup storage are all essential to producing professional results. This equipment costs thousands of dollars and needs to be maintained and upgraded regularly.

Business Costs – Running a photography business means insurance, website hosting, marketing, licenses, studio or travel expenses, and sometimes even assistants. These overhead costs are built into the session fee.

Experience & Artistry – You’re not only paying for a photo—you’re paying for someone who knows how to pose you naturally, use light creatively, and capture images that feel timeless and authentic. That expertise comes from years of practice and education.

Even with premium pricing, photographers don’t actually take home as much as it seems. Once costs and taxes are factored in, margins are modest compared to the time, skill, and expenses required and typically not even as profitable as the trades like drywall, plumbing or framing - facts. Senior portraits are an investment—but they’re also heirlooms that will last a lifetime.

  11. Do You Do Multi Session Discounts
Yes. If you do more than one session in a year, the sessions after the first one are 25% off the main package fee. For example if you do a newborn session for $400, and then later in the year do a family portrait session or another baby session, the second session will be $300 instead of $400. Add on fees still apply.
